Did you know there are over 5 trillion pieces of plastic waste in the ocean today and growing? That’s roughly 260,000 tons of trash just floating around, affecting our sea creatures and environment. To those who DO Recycle “Big Up’s to Ya - Thank You”!!! This program won’t completely solve the problem but I promise you, it will definitely help.
Although I use one of the higher rating PET plastic bottles and jars, it just does not decompose. Which means it’s not biodegradable like most trash. The Earth could be wiped clean of all humanity but trust me, there’ll still be an abundance of plastic (and other things) left. We have to do better!
Here’s how it works:
A purchase must be made for you to join the Recycle with Mixed Flavors Program
CLICK on Recycle Me located in the MENU
In the drop down, select JOIN
CLICK SUBMIT and you’re all set!
Once your order goes through and products are shipped, included in your order will be a return padded envelope with the return label already attached. When your products are done, place the empty bottles/jars*** with the cap/lid securely fastened into the return envelope**. Drop the envelope off at your nearest post office or better yet, place it in your mailbox and push your red tab up (if you have that option). *PLEASE DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED PLASTIC
Mixed Flavors receives your returned plastic***
Within 2-3 business days, 10% off coupon code will be sent to the Email address that was used with your order
All returned plastic will go through a 3 step steam and clean process followed by an external sterilization using 70% isopropyl alcohol. As long as the plastic is not damaged*, the 10% discount code will be sent by email within 2-3 business days.
The recycled plastic will go back into inventory.
*The 10% discount will be forfeited if any bottles and/or jars arrive damaged and unrecyclable. Fragile sticker(s) will be placed on the padded envelope for your return.
**Keep the returned envelope and label in a safe place. If lost or stolen Mixed Flavors LLC will not be held responsible for replacing the return envelope and/or the return label.
***A minimum amount of plastic ounces and or pounds will be determined once the Program Recycle with Mixed Flavors is launched.
